This beautiful crystal-like stand is tear-drop shaped and features an image of the Kwan Yin Goddess meditating on a lotus leaf. The ornament is made from glass and is multi-faceted to maximise light reflection and refraction and is heavy enough to be used as a paperweight.
Kwan Yin is the goddess of mercy, and is believed to listen to the sounds of the world and cries for help from those in suffering. She is a compassionate goddess that has ties with both Buddhism and Taoism and is sometimes depicted with many arms with which to help those in need. She provides unconditional love and is seen as a spiritual and physical saviour.
