This red fabric scroll with two Koi Carp swimming in a pond with coins and lotus flowers may be brought out year after year to celebrate Chinese New Year ensuring that you will have abundance in your life. The red velvety material is printed with an ornate gold border which frames the image of two Koi swimming amongst gold, coins and lotus blossoms.
Chinese characters of 'May you have abundance each year' are often pictured with carp, as the word for abundance/plenty sounds similar to 'fish'.
The scroll is held at either end by strong card tubes with decorative gold coloured caps, and may be hung by the red hanging cord along the top of the scroll.
