A hand-finished full-sized Blue Chinese parasol (umbrella) made of bamboo and silky cover. The parasol features pretty painted flowers and birds or Chinese scenery and intricate workings of bamboo struts and string. The lovely sheen of the parasol can glamour to any room as a decorative shade to hang from on high, or by placing in front of a lamp.

The parasol has a wooden catch to allow it to be kept open, keeping you shaded from the sun with very little effort. When closed, a simple ribbon allows the parasol to be tied shut and the painted handle of the parasol has a silky Chinese tassel attached

This pretty parasol can be used as a wedding parasol, as a decorative object, or just for keeping the sun off your face! A great gift for bridesmaids.
