The first thing you notice about these delicate latticework Sandalwood Fans is the beautiful aroma. The sweet incense scent of the wood as you open the velvet-lined gift box is enough to transport you to the exotic Far East. The fan itself is crafted out of wafer-thin wood with exquisite latticework along its blades. In the centre of the fan, printed on both sides, is a pretty design of birds, peacocks, flowers, traditional Chinese scenery or Chinese masks.

This beautiful fan would make the ideal gift for a special friend, or perhaps to give as a mothers' day gift. As a gift, the fan symbolises friendship and respect. It is presented in a pretty brocade box with padded interior and traditional-style Chinese fastenings.

A pretty decorative tassel with traditional Chinese knot hangs from the base of the fan blades and the blades of the fan are neatly strung together by an invisible thread.
