Titkuanyin (Tikuanyin, Tieguanyin) translates as Iron Buddha. This premium variety of Chinese Oolong Tea comes from the Fujian province of China.
This tea has a mild taste as it is only partially fermented before drying, and has a delicate flowery aroma.
This tea may be brewed either in a tea pot or in a mug, and can be enjoyed for a couple of washes.
Kwan Yin is the goddess of mercy, and is believed to listen to the sounds of the world and cries for help from those in suffering. She is a compassionate goddess that has ties with both Buddhism and Taoism and is sometimes depicted with many arms with which to help those in need. She provides unconditional love and is seen as a spiritual and physical saviour.
